Royal Hens is the egg brand of Morning Star Fields. Our hens are raised cage-free in purpose-built barns with fresh air, room to move, perch and dust bathe. We hold Certified Humane (Raised & Handled), which is audited by third-party veterinarians and animal-welfare scientists, plus UEP Certified Cage-Free. Eggs are laid, packed and shipped within 48 hours from our SQF certified facility. No chemicals, no antibiotics. The deep orange yolk colour comes from the hens' diet, including marigolds and leafy greens grown on the farm.

A cage-free label does not specify how much space a hen gets, does not require outdoor access, and is not enforced by inspection. Certified Humane is audited by third-party veterinarians and animal-welfare scientists against published standards. We hold both.
How fresh are the eggs when they reach me?
Laid, packed and shipped within 48 hours. Because we deliver inside roughly 250 miles of Vero Beach rather than trucking across the country, cases arrive days fresher than a national blend.
Why are the yolks so orange?
Diet. Our hens eat marigolds and leafy greens grown on the farm, and that carotenoid content is what deepens the yolk colour. It happens naturally rather than through an additive.
